Governor DeSantis is in St. Augustine today signing legislation to support law enforcement and "Back the Blue". Senate Bill 194 prohibits people from harassing police and first responders when they're actively doing their jobs. House Bill 601 kills extra judicial investigations against law enforcement with things like Citizen Review Boards that can be stacked with political activists. He says review boards are ok, but the people serving on them must be appointed by the sheriff.
